fonts-uw-ttyp0

UW ttyp0 is a family of monospaced bitmap screen fonts for X11 and the
Linux console, with regular, bold, italic, and Unicode variants.

This SlackBuild selects the dotted-zero variant and installs:

  * PCF fonts in `/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc`
  * OTB fonts in `/usr/share/fonts/misc/uw-ttyp0`
  * Console fonts in `/usr/share/kbd/consolefonts`
  * Documentation in `/usr/doc/fonts-uw-ttyp0-2.1`

To choose another zero style, edit the `Digit0Dotted` selection in the
SlackBuild. Other variants are documented at:

https://people.mpi-inf.mpg.de/~uwe/misc/uw-ttyp0/Variants.html

Refresh the font cache after installation if necessary with
`fc-cache -f`.

Fontconfig applications such as cwm find the fonts automatically.
Older X11 clients such as twm need the font directories added to the
current session.
To do this automatically, put the following in `~/.xprofile`:

    xset +fp /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc
    xset +fp /usr/share/fonts/misc/uw-ttyp0
    xset fp rehash

Use `xlsfonts -fn '*ttyp0*'` to see the XLFD names available to twm.
