Ouch is a command-line utility for compressing, decompressing, and
listing archives. It detects formats from filename extensions and
supports multiple compression layers.

Building requires rust-opt (Rust 1.93 or newer). Cargo uses the supplied
vendor archive and Cargo.lock without downloading dependencies. Rust is
not needed at runtime. Slackware's LLVM (libclang) and C/C++ compilers
are also needed to build the native dependencies.

The build retains upstream's default features, including bzip3 and RAR
extraction. The bundled UnRAR license prohibits using its code to
develop a RAR-compatible archiver. RAR creation is not supported.
Dependency license notices are installed in
/usr/doc/ouch-<version>/licenses/.

Use "ouch compress", "ouch decompress", or "ouch list". Read the man
pages for options. Bash, Zsh, and Fish completions are included.
